Coding
These are some of the programs needed for MediaGlyphs
-
Input programs
to input the glyphs by typing in one's own language and interactively compose the MG sentences. Also possible are speech/pitch-recognition programs based on MG-standard_pronunciation or MG-musical_scheme.
-
Specifics (to be written)
-
Transmission/Email/Chat programs or daemons
to seamlessly and automatically deal with MG codes and images, for example recognizing an MG encoded string in an email and replacing it with images, or sending htmlized MG emails.... or even MG-aware pda/mobile software
-
Display programs
to replace the html display of MG texts, allowing better enhancement of MG features (e.g. composites, phrases), scaling of the images, customizable tooltips with translation in one's own language or images' zoom/animation, syntax colouring (e.g. pronoun correspondances with arrows), added information levels (e.g. emotion bar)
-
Grammatic parsers
to check/aid the syntax of a MG sentence, helping the user to compose grammatically correct sentences. Also useful for the NLU/AI sub-projects.
If possible, the programs should be created in Java or other easily portable system.
Useful reference documents
-
MG Encoding: parsing
explains how to deal with the MG codes, with algorithm and sample codes for parsing and a technical reference.
-
Morphology codes
contains a list of the morphological codes and their expansion in a more human readable form.
